Earlier this autumn, I ventured to the top of the Long Mynd with the lovely K + L for their engagement shoot. The location was a natural choice, as the pair are both lovers of walking through nature; K + L enjoy exploring the Shropshire Hills and share fond memories of a trip to the Isle of Skye.
It was great to meet these two, learn more about them, and chat wedding plans (I even got to meet K’s parents, which was a lovely bonus). It was also the perfect opportunity for K + L to get accustomed to being in front of the camera, so that it’s an enjoyable and familiar process on their wedding day. K + L told me that what they love most about each other is that they don’t take themselves seriously, so I wanted to capture their relaxed personalities and plenty of giggles.
I’m looking forward to spending more time with K + L again next year when I photograph what is sure to be a beautiful wedding at the Mytton & Mermaid.
